The book club is under the auspices of the WEA Book Discussion Scheme and has been meeting for approximately 20 years. We meet at County Fayre on the second Tuesday of the month, at 7p.m. to discuss the book provided by the scheme for that month, have supper, which is rostered, and a general catchup of course. The cost for a year is usually just over $70. We have a full contingent at the moment and are a very stable group so we aren’t currently looking for new members, however if anyone wants to know more, they can email me at lois@netmail.co.nz or phone 063268126. If there is sufficient interest, there is no reason why a second book club could not be formed.
